As a Manager or Client Admin for your organization's SolidProfessor account, you have the option to remove users from this account anytime you need to.
Please note: removing a user from your account is permanent and cannot be undone. It is best practice to utilize this feature in cases where the employee will not be returning (i.e. employee departure, retirement, etc.)
If you are looking to temporarily deactivate a user that may need training in the future but is not leaving the company, we recommend deactivating the user, as opposed to removing them from your account. For more information, please see our support guide on Activating and Reactivating Users.
1. To remove a user from your account, start by selecting the 'Admin Tools' option on your SolidProfessor Dashboard (or under the user settings drop down menu).
2. Next, choose 'All Members' from the menu on the left-hand side of your screen.
3. Here you will select the 3-dot ellipsis on the right-hand side of the user's name and select 'Remove from Account.'
Let's walk through this part together. For this example: We'll pretend Monica Gellar received an offer for her dream job as a chef and will be leaving the company. Since we're going to be removing Monica from our organization's account, we will locate her name on the 'All Members' list, scroll to the right, click on the 3-dot ellipsis by her name, and select 'Remove from Account.'
4. Once we select this option, we will see a pop up warning that informs us that we will not be able to re-add Monica to our organization upon removal. Since we wish to proceed, we will simply select 'Remove from Account.'
5. You can now see that we have removed Monica Gellar from our organization and she no longer appears under 'All Members' list.
Please note: This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Again, we recommend deactivating a member from your account if they will remain with the company and may require future training. You can learn more here.
