Update: This issue was resolved as of 6/13/2023.
There's a known issue where the Assignment 'Status' field isn't updating from the 'Assignments' view (shown below). Although it's showing 'No Lessons' in this screenshot, this field should be updating with the following assignment status options: 'Complete', 'In Progress' or 'Not Started'.
Although the status is not updating from the assignment view, the user's views and assignment review tests are still being recorded. They can be seen in the Assignment Status from the 'Groups' view as shown below or from the 'Learner's Summary', 'View Statistics'
