The SolidProfessor Portfolio feature is a tool designed to empower SolidProfessor users to showcase their learning, certifications, work, projects, and achievements in a professional and visually consistent manner.
1. Log in to SolidProfessor and navigate to your Portfolio
2. How to Change Visibility and Discovery: Click the "Settings" button to proceed. The "Visibility and Discovery" settings page allows the user to customize the content visibility of their Portfolio. This allows the user to decide which sections are displayed to viewers.
- Slide toggles off for the Portfolio sections you don't want visible to viewers and click the "Save Changes" button.
- Click the "Preview" button to confirm the Portfolio is not visible is no longer being shown to viewers.
3. Enable Discovery (Optional): Under the Discovery section in your Portfolio settings, you can choose to make your Portfolio searchable by others
a. Make My Portfolio Searchable: Selecting this option allows others to search your Portfolio through SolidProfessor's Portfolio Search to discover your skills and optionally invite you to connect. Only the content you have set as visible will be shown.
You can enable or disable this at any time. If disabled, your Portfolio will not appear in search results, even if parts of your Portfolio are set to visible.
