In order to copy a Class, you will need to have at least one existing Class already created. For information on how to create a Class, please see the article "How to Create a Class".
1. Identify the Class to be copied, and choose "+Create".
2. Choose 'Make a Copy'.
3. Choose which existing Class to copy - type directly in this field to narrow down options.
All available Classes at your School will be shown in this drop down, separate from your Classes. Copy settings can be toggled from this page.
4. Name your new Class, and input an optional Class Code.
All Classes at a school must have unique names. Please ensure you're choosing a unique name that your students will easily identify.
If provided, students must enter the Class Code to join the Class. Read more here: How to add/edit Class Codes.
6. Edit Class details: choose Status and number of Test Attempts
8. Toggle Class Copy Settings.
Limit other Instructor's ability to copy your Class and Assignments by un-checking the top check-box.
You can also choose to "Keep existing dates" to use available and due dates from the Class you're copying.
9. Toggle Video Player and Test Settings, and choose "Next: Select Assignments".
Video Player Settings:
- Disable Autoplay: disables autoplay of videos upon completion.
- Disable Speed Adjustment: disables student ability to increase/decrease video playback speed
- Disable Previous/Next Buttons: disables student ability to use previous/next buttons on videos.
Test Settings:
- Include Baseline Test in Assignments:Select if you want the students to take a pre-test before completing the lessons and exercises.**This setting cannot be changed later.
- Include Testing Timer:Select to set a 1-minute timer for each question on the baseline and review tests.
10. Select assignments to copy. All assignments are selected to copy by default. Then choose "Next: Select Dates".
11. Add dates to assignments. To assign dates to multiple assignments at a time, select assignments and use the Bulk Edit options. Then, choose "Create Copy".
All assignments require an Available date, but adding a Due Date is optional. Use the 'Clear All' option to reset all dates chosen.
