The SOLIDWORKS Add-in has been updated by our platform team. This Add-In allows you to have SolidProfessor open in your task pane while working in SOLIDWORKS.
Follow these instructions to update to the most recent version of the Add-in.
Please note: If you were using original SOLIDWORKS Add-in, you'll need to uninstall the old version and download the updated version as shown below.
1. To update to the most recent version, log into your SolidProfessor account. From the dashboard click on "Download the SOLIDWORKS Add-In".
A pop-up will appear while the installer app is being downloaded. Once complete, click on the downloaded file from your browser.
2. Follow the prompts and instructions for the Add-in Setup Wizard.
Click "Next"
Check the box next to "I accept the terms in the License Agreement" and click "Next"
Click "Next"
Click "Install"
After the install is complete, click "Finish"
3. Once the updated Add-in is installed, open SOLIDWORKS.
Click on the "Options" icon and "Add-Ins..."
Check the box next to "SolidProfessor Web Addin"
Click on the SolidProfessor icon from the add-ins toolbar and log into your account
