We’re excited to announce some major updates to the custom group assignment creation process in SolidProfessor. With the introduction of a new, dedicated page, managing and creating custom assignments is now simpler and more intuitive than ever before.
Here are the key improvements you’ll notice:
Dedicated Assignment Creation Page: Previously, creating custom assignments took place in a pop-up window. Now, you’ll have a full-page interface that makes adding and removing lessons smoother and more efficient.
Select All Functionality: You can now quickly add all lessons from a specific course version by simply checking the box next to that version. Additionally, you can check a course section box to add all nested lessons within that section at once.
Content Interaction: Clicking on a course version or lesson title will open the content in a new tab. This feature allows for easy multitasking while you’re building custom assignments, ensuring you can reference lessons without losing your progress.
Another new feature in both new and existing groups is the 'Manage Learners' icon, displayed in the two locations below. Clicking this icon will take you directly to the Admin Tools, allowing you to quickly add learners to your groups.
