Follow the steps below to duplicate an existing group. Copying a group enables you to retain the original group's settings and content while creating a new group to track the progress and learning of a different user pool.
1. After logging in as a Manager, go to the Groups tab or select Create Group.
4. Choose your new group's name and settings, then click Next: Select Assignments.
Please note that by default, the Copy Settings option allows both the group and its assignments to be copied by others. This setting enables other admins within your SolidProfessor team to duplicate your group and its content.
5. Choose the assignments you would like to copy.
Note that all assignments are selected by default. Check the box beside any assignments you would like to exclude from the new group.
Please note that if you select "Skip," your new group will not have any assignments. This option is useful if you wish to copy only the original group's settings and add new content.
6. Choose Available and Due dates for each assignment.
Note that the "Available" date will default to today's date. Assignment Due dates are not required.
